Reasons to jump up and down

1) Dancing. I'm sorry - I know it's cheezy but I am SO blown away by So You Think You Can Dance this year. AMAZING!  I'm not a dancer - never have been (laughable indeed). I'm also not a fan of that other dancing show...something about the stars...can't stand that one.  I'm also not a huge reality fan - at all. But this show is so different in so many ways.  I just love how it embodies creativity. Real creativity - not over produced - scripted for ratings crap.  From the choreographers to the amazing music that they always use (with the exception of an occasional BAD choice...Richard Marx?  ick)...just fantastic.  I'll likely be posting about it a lot - just because I can't keep my opinions to myself. Anyway, my favorites so far?  Ade for the guys and Kayla for the girls - but they're all so good.  I don't even really care about who wins, I just love to watch. Delightful. 

2) Quitting your job.  To quote Conan, "that's right." There is really nothing more exhilarating than asking your boss if she/he has a few minutes and then closing the door behind you so as to indicate a seriously private discussion.  And then, "I quit." Ahhhhhh. That's some good euphoria. 

3) Getting the job you REALLY wanted 3 years ago.  More about that later. 

4) 6 weeks off in between jobs. That's right. 

5) 11 YEARS of marriage. I really love being married to Tosh. Marriage is so fun. Seriously! I feel like it's making me wise. And he's real cute.  We didn't take any pictures though. :(

6) Winning a lottery.  Not THAT lottery - the Nike Women's Half Marathon lottery.  October 18 in San Francisco! Bay Bridge, Fisherman's Wharf, the Golden Gate Bridge, Golden Gate Park, Cliff House, the Pacific Ocean and 20,000 runners. 

7) All girl road trip/beach adventures when the man of the house is out of town (we wish he was with us though) 

8) Field trips, field trips, field trips. Field trips are WAY better than they used to be.
