The party has been going now for a good 2 1/2 weeks. It's been a whirlwind but I'm definitely having fun - and could really get used to this kind of living (you know, where you wake up whenever you want, have nowhere specific to be or no one to report to except your conscience for nagging you to get out of your pajamas...).
It started with a birthday party for my cute husband. Unfortunately, I don't have those pictures available at the moment but we celebrated with homemade buffalo wings (his request) and a friend/family BBQ. We were eating chicken wings for days to follow, as noted in the foto below. I really enjoy Tosh. I have a new
favorite song right now that reminds me of him. It's country and a little mushy but everytime I hear it, I can't help but think of him. "
Nothing makes sense when you're not here." I haven't seen Tosh since then, pretty much, so I'm a little sappy right now.
Next up, a visit from my little pessego,
Andrea. I've mentioned this lady before - she's what I affectionately refer to as my KS. Kindred spirit for any of you Anne Shirley fans. We've been KSs since 1994. She came to CA for a few days and although I didn't dazzle her with excitement every second, it was great to 'be' together for a while. We don't get to see eachother much - live and in person - so it's a real treat. Here we are enjoying some chicken wings....
It was her first and she has been waiting for it for months. I think it went well - she got showered with attention and had all of her cute friends at her house, which she thought was pretty 'awesome!'
The next day, or somewhere thereabouts, the girls and I headed to Utah, where we've been since. It has been so fun - we've been playing at Grandma Laura's and really enjoying our time off. We spent the 4th with Derek and Krystal and the Bells (and once again, I have no pictures....I'm terrible!) Super company - super fireworks - super food - couldn't ask for more. Thanks, Krystal and Derek, for the good time! Maybe you can post some fotos...(sorry I'm such a loser).
Isabel got to have another birthday party, this time with our family that we don't get to see very often. Once again, she loved every second. Thanks to everyone who came!
We loved seeing you all!

We also got to see lots of our friends...
Carson, Kennedy, Callie and Isabel
Harley, Coleson, Isabel, Kennedy
The old stomping grounds - Murray, UTIsabel, Victoria and Kennedy
Zach and Kennedy We also got to visit the universe:

We also spent a few days helping clean out the basement at Grandma Laura and Grandpa Tom's and then had a yard sale. The girls sold lemonade and made a killing. The Sprite was a little overpriced though.

We spent yesterday at Lagoon and got completely, i say, COMPLETELY drenched. But it was great because it was so hot.
Yes, those are wet butt cheeks.Gram went on lots of roller coasters.
It's always hard to say goodbye to grams but the day has sadly come. We love you Gram!!!! Thanks for the fun! Can't wait until next time...
Today we head to Cannonville for Chapter 2 of the Utah trip, the Scoffield Reunion.
